 How to Factory Reset OnePlus 3 with Hardware Keys

If you find that the touchscreen is unresponsive, there’s a problem accessing the menu, or maybe you forgot your pattern lock, then you can still factory reset your OnePlus 3 using the hardware keys.

  1. Turn off the OnePlus 3.
  2. Press and hold the Volume up button, the Homebutton, and the Power button at the same time until you see the Android icon.
  3. Using the Volume downselect wipe data/factory reset option and press the Power button to select it.
  4. Using the Volume downhighlight Yes – delete all user data and press Power to select it.
  5. After the OnePlus 3 has rebooted, then use the Power button to select it.
  6. When the OnePlus 3 restarts, everything will be wiped and will be ready to set up again.

How to Hard Reset A OnePlus 3, Method 1:

  1. Turn off the OnePlus 3
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up button, the Home button, and the Power button at the same time, until the OnePlus logo appears.
  3. Use the Volume Down button to scroll through the Recovery Mode menu and select “wipe data / factory reset”. Hit the Power button to confirm.
  4. Select “Yes — delete all user data” to confirm the whole operation.
  5. After that select “reboot system now”.

How to Hard Reset A OnePlus 3, Method 2:

  1. Turn on the OnePlus 3
  2. Once you get to the Home Screen go to Menu and then to Settings.
  3. Select Backup & reset and then Reset device.
  4. To confirm your choice select Erase everything.
